MEDIA RELEASE Call for Project Proposals by the India-Sri Lanka Foundation New Delhi Secretariat
The India – Sri Lanka Foundation (ISLF) was established in 1998 by a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of India and Sri Lanka to foster India – Sri Lanka relations through the fostering of economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation, and to promote greater understanding between the people of the two countries. The New Delhi Secretariat of the India-Sri Lanka Foundation (ISLF) invites project proposals from Indian nationals in the areas of Arts & Culture, Archeology, Education, Agriculture, Science & Technology, Health, Social Work, Development Studies, Tourism, Women’s Studies, Sports, and more. Proposals may also be for visits and exchanges involving students, scholars, academics, artists, professionals and performing artistes, to participate in conference/seminar, symposia, art exhibitions, film festivals, cultural events, training workshops, publication of research works on India – Sri Lanka relations in the specified fields and translating literary works in Indian languages to Sri Lankan languages and publishing them, and vice-versa. Individuals, institutions, organisations, and groups are invited to submit proposals aligned with the above thrust areas, which would be considered during the upcoming meeting of the Board of the India-Sri Lanka Foundation scheduled for September 2025.
