High Commissioner Moragoda calls on the Archbishop of Delhi |

Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India, Milinda Moragoda called on the Archbishop of Delhi, Most Reverend Anil Joseph Thomas Couto today (20) at the Archbishop’s House in New Delhi. The High Commissioner and the Archbishop had a very cordial exchange of views on a range of issues, including the current developments in Sri Lanka. The diplomatic staff of the High Commission also attended this meeting. Some of the key appointments Archbishop Couto held over the years include: Rector of ‘Pratiksha’, Major Seminary, Delhi (1991), Rector of 'Vinay Gurukul' Minor Seminary, Gurgaon (1998), the Episcopal Vicar (1999), and Auxiliary Bishop of Delhi & Titular Bishop of Cenculiana (2001). Archbishop Couto holds a Doctorate in Ecumenical Theology from St. Thomas Aquinas Pontifical University (Angelicum), Rome. He was appointed Archbishop of Delhi in 2012 and later installed as the Archbishop of Delhi in January 2013. High Commission of Sri Lanka 20 July 2022 |
