High Commission of Sri Lanka in India

Austrian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Brigitte Oppinger – Walchshofer called on Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Austin Fernando, on 13 September 2019.  

During the meeting, the Austrian Ambassador apprised the High Commissioner of the forthcoming Austrian Business Mission to Sri Lanka that will take place from 18 to 20 September 2019

The Austrian Business delegation will comprise thirteen leading Austrian companies representing the fields of healthcare, environmental technology, financial services, water treatment etc.     

During the meeting, the Austrian Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka discussed on the potential industry areas for collaboration by the Austrian companies in Sri Lanka. Further, High Commissioner Fernando facilitated arranging meetings with the decision makers and senior Government Officials in Sri Lanka for the visiting Austrian Business Delegation, to discuss potential project proposals related to power, railways, etc during the forthcoming business mission.
