Armenian Ambassador to India paid a courtesy call on High Commissioner Print option in slimbox / lytebox? (info)

His Excellency Armen Martirosyan, Ambassador of Armenia paid a courtesy call on High Commissioner Austin Fernando at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in New Delhi on 23rd January 2019, prior to his visit to Sri Lanka to attend the 71st Independence Day Celebrations in Colombo.  Their discussions focused on matters of mutual interest and further enhancing bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Armenia. 

During his visit to Colombo, Ambassador is expected to hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka and the Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss at length, on the two draft Agreements i.e. Agreement on Mutual Exemption of Visas for holders of Diplomatic Passports and MoU between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka and Armenia on Mutual Cooperation and the ways in which the bilateral relations can be taken forward. 

Moreover, he is also expected to meet the Secretary/Ministry of Higher Education, Chairman, University Grants Commission, and President of the Sri Lanka Medical Council to discuss avenues for Sri Lankan students to undertake undergraduate/postgraduate studies in Armenia, in particular, in the field of medical sciences.
