Cey-nor Development Foundation a company functioning under the purview of Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development has been engaged in the manufacture of fishing boats and other types of marine craft such as leisure craft (Yachts) and small sized passenger craft.  It has a modern boatyard in Colombo and is in possession of a group of trained and competent staff.  For nearly four decades Cey-nor Foundation has been manufacturing boats of different size and models used in marine fishing as well in inland fishing.  In addition to meeting the boats required by the local fishing industry, it has also exported some of its marine craft to several other countries.

Cey-nor Foundation is keen to venture into export of its fishing boats and other types of craft including yachts and small passenger boats on a major scale to make an active contribution to Sri Lanka‚Äôs export development drive.  Cey-nor Foundation is confident that it would be able to compete effectively in terms of price and quality and has identified countries such as Somalia, Mauritius, Tanzania, Mozambique, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mali and Ghana as some of the countries where there is good market potential for its products.  Cey-nor Foundation wishes to identify and contact prospective clients and to disseminate the requisite information in order to explore marketing possibilities.
